Pin-up use forbidden!
It doesn’t get much scarier than this. No, Simon you can’t throw me in the kennel with the rest of the Friday 12 beer pin ups. I ran out today after reading a couple posts off Simon Graham’s PikeFlyFishingArticles site (Wig hair streamers and the Black Cat tutorial) and picked up a couple leftover costume wigs.

I was a little disappointed that I did not find something close to chartreuse and a nice bright orange to build a complete “fire tiger” pattern out of. I did find a couple colors to try some bait fish patterns with. The blonde and the bleached out blonde have some nice highlights, almost flash quality to them.
I did my best to look as non transvestite as I could while shopping. I wore my well heeled sweat stained “trout bum” ball cap, t-shirt, well worn carhart pants and ratty ol’ boots but I still got a questionable look at the checkout counter. Maybe the checker wasn’t a local thereby giving me at least the benefit of the doubt of being in Montana? I guess you just never know…
